Counsellor, Coach and Trainer

CF is a qualified counselor and a registered coach in private practice. He has been focusing on treating emotional distress, mental health issues, mood disorders, and adolescent problem behaviors which include works on suicide intervention. Major clients include children and adolescents, couples, families and parents, and those with addiction problems. He has been providing suicidal prevention hotline and counseling service since 2008.
For over 10 years, CF has also been offering coaching service to individuals and for corporates, for personal growth, self-awareness enhancement and career development of managerial staff. He adopts various intervention approaches and theories, viz. Cognitive behavioral therapy, Emotional focused therapy, Bowen family systems theory, Hypnotherapy and Motivational Interviewing.
CF also works as a part-time teacher for counseling courses at HKU SPACE Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Community College. He has been co-working with Dr. Gracemary Leung in various workshops for Buildings Department, Department of Health, Social Welfare Department, Civil Service Bureau, City University of Hong Kong, University of Hong Kong and澳門特別行政區政府社會工作局. He also acts as a Volunteer Sex Educator in a local agency to conduct sexuality education workshops for secondary school students.
